The best android apps can be tough to find, as there are billions of apps available and not all of them are very good. They have been using the Google Play Store for a long time now to find the best Android software, putting each promising app through its paces to make sure that it is worth the download.

Niagara Launcher App

They are searching fresh new way to experience your Android phone's home screen, and then look no further than Niagara Launcher. Niagara Launcher shirks the traditional app drawer paradigm, instead opting for a minimalist group of favorites with an alphabetical list as the app drawer replacement. The end result is clean look with intuitive gestures for navigation.

They can pay a small fee to unlock the full experience, but the core part of Niagara is free. It is my go-to launcher now and it won our Best Android App award for this year. It's definitely worth checking out.

Woebot App

Woebot channels chatbot technology for better, building on proven principles and techniques of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy and mindfulness help with emotional self-care and help you process difficult emotions and life events. 

Do not confuse Woebot with a good and human therapist. Instead, the app main goals to help you self-assess your state of mind, checking in with you regularly basis and helping you practice mindfulness exercises to try to help center yourself and improve your mental and emotional well-being.

Babbel: Language Learning App

After Duolingo, Babbel is very famous language learning app and with good reason – this has all the tools need to learn another language, whether completely new to it and already speak some. There are up to 14 languages to select from and over 60,000 lessons, plus podcasts, flash cards, games and many more. Speech recognition means practice speaking the language, and you will also get to listen to it, read it and write it, so every aspect of language fluency is covered.

Babbel is not free app, but it has several subscription options available, and it feels more polished and comprehensive than many rival apps and even goes beyond pre-built lessons to offer live classes that you can participate in. So, you are serious about learning a language, it is worth putting few money down and giving Babbel a try.

SKRWT Android App

There are most popular photo editing Android apps, but while most offer filters and effects some allow alter the perspective of a photo in the way SKRWT app. There are no makeup modes and stickers here, and no real effects. Instead there are tools to shift the perspective, change the ratio and correct lens distortion. It is a more professional tool, but it is easy to use and you can always undo your changes if you do not like them. You can also flip, mirror, rotate and crop images, but SKRWT is not interested so much in modifying photos in unnatural ways, as in making them look exactly as you envisioned when you took them.

KineMaster App

KineMaster is one of the most powerful video editors on Android, but it is also intuitive enough that anyone could enjoy using it. The app lets you add audio and visual filters to footage, stickers, add text and other, alter and trim videos frame-by-frame, adjust the speed, add transition effects and whole many more. You can also record videos straight from the KineMaster app. It can feel a small cramped on a phone screen, but otherwise everything works well. You can use the KineMaster Android app for free, but all your videos will have a KineMaster watermark and you cannot use them commercially. They remove the watermarks, allow commercial use and unlock additional assets (like effects and overlays) you have to pay a subscription, but up to 2.91 per month it remains affordable.
