Web browser is an application that provides for the user interface so we can communicate with the internet, but this definition is incorrect in technicality.
The web browser is software i.e used to execute JavaScript, HTML and CSS files. When the user requests a webpage using the Internet, the server acknowledges the request or sends back the HTML file, and the browser executes that HTML file so the user can see the content.
